Description:Monks Bridge over the River Calder at Cold Fell, Cumbria. The oldest packhorse bridge in the county being at least 300 years old and a rebuild of an earlier bridge that served Calder Abbey and the local iron ore mines. Also known as Matty Benns bridge after a local farmer.
