Originally uploaded to Coppermine on Feb 21, 2007 by Gareth ThomasThis ('Chepstow A466') being slightly unusual in that it says '2m' rather than the usual '1m', due to the bridge being in the way. ;-)

Originally uploaded to Coppermine on Apr 04, 2006 by Gareth ThomasLooking northbound, the entire length of the short A2008 in Hythe, Kent, can be seen here.

Originally uploaded to Coppermine on Apr 04, 2006 by Gareth Thomas'But it's green and says 'A20'!', I hear you say. Ah, but 'tis an old sign, the road is now the B2011 and 'A2033' should now read 'A260'.
Originally uploaded to Coppermine on Apr 04, 2006 by Gareth ThomasThe A290 Canterbury-Whitstable road runs through the Westgate, built centuries ago and not really designed for road vehicles! Westbound traffic goes around, eastbound traffic goes through.
Originally uploaded to Coppermine on Apr 25, 2005 by Gareth ThomasA (sadly blurred) sign on the A251, near Ashford, Kent.
Originally uploaded to Coppermine on Apr 04, 2006 by Gareth ThomasHere's the TOTSO of Canterbury Road - it continues to the right, and behind. Black Bull Road is to the left, although both Black Bull Road and Canterbury Road are part of the A259.

Originally uploaded to Coppermine on Aug 23, 2005 by Gareth ThomasThere's something off about this sign, something not quite white.....er, right.
Originally uploaded to Coppermine on Feb 21, 2007 by Gareth ThomasAnd just to prove it's not a one off - here's another sign at the same junction. Whoops!

Originally uploaded to Coppermine on Sep 30, 2005 by Gareth ThomasThis map shows the boundaries between the road numbering zones 1-5 in London - unlike in Edinburgh, where zones 1,6, 7 and 9 all meet at one point, it's not so simple here!
Originally uploaded to Coppermine on Jul 20, 2005 by Gareth ThomasThe A2050 heading into Canterbury from the A2 at Bridge. The former A2, this road is usually a fast, easy way to enter the city.
Originally uploaded to Coppermine on Apr 25, 2005 by Gareth ThomasA (rather blurry, sorry) photo of an old signpost on the B2068 in Kent.
Originally uploaded to Coppermine on Apr 04, 2006 by Gareth ThomasThis sign was replaced with a patch - saying exactly the same thing! You can see the original text on either side of the patch.
Originally uploaded to Coppermine on Dec 27, 2005 by Gareth ThomasThis is fairly unusual. It's a sign for a footpath, for pedestians, yet is green and has mileages. Located in Capel-le-Ferne, Kent.
Originally uploaded to Coppermine on Apr 04, 2006 by Gareth ThomasWell, I thought it looked unusual. :-) It's built into a stone support. Located on the B2011 Dover Hill, Folkestone.

Originally uploaded to Coppermine on Jan 29, 2006 by Gareth ThomasThis sign amuses me. On one hand it appears to cyclists where to ride, on the other it says Cyclists Dismount..... ;-) (It's really telling cyclists where the cycle lanes are). Note that they now have to dismount every day of the week instead of just Mon-Sat.
