Roads by 10 was a term used in the early days of SABRE where it referred to 3-digit A-road numbers, which in the early days had route descriptions submitted in blocks of 10 - for instance, A100-A109.
Older members will still occasionally use the term, and its associated abbreviation, Rx10, to refer to blocks of 3-digit A-road and/or their route descriptions.
It is similar to the occasionally still used First 99 or F99, which refers to the single and two digit A-roads between A1 and A99.
